Station 3(a)
Station 3 was opened in 1889 to supplement fire protection on the cities North Side. On October 28, 1906, an 800gpm, 3 horse hitch second size Nott engine was placed in service as Engine Co. No.3 at this station. Station 3(a) would close in 1929 to build Station 3(b) at the same location.
