About Myself

Station 11

The Lansingville Fire Station, or Station No. 11, opened June 10, 1914 on Poland Ave. at Jones and was temporarily assigned a truck from the downtown Station 1. Later that truck would be replaced with a new 1914 Nott Hose Wagon. It would remain active until March 29, 1972 when this station and No.4 fire station at Falls and Oak Hill closed. It was used by the City of Youngstown, Engineering Department until 1982 and today houses an auto repair shop.
