officials to help YFD purchase new fire engine
The
Youngstown Fire Department is getting a helping hand from the state. The
department will receive more than $200,000 from Ohio to purchase a new fire
engine. City officials will spend nearly $87,000 for the vehicle.
The funds are part of a program that provides grants to local fire departments.
