Boston Avenue Fire
by Pat Livingston
Youngstown - A Youngstown man was treated for smoke inhalation after his house caught on fire early Monday morning.

John Vivo and Sterling Anderson were awakened by smoke and were able to get out of the house at 724 East Boston and called 911.

Firefighters say the flames started in the basement and spread throughout the house. Damage is set at $15,000.

Investigators say Vivo, who owns the house, refused to grant them permission to examine the property to determine an exact cause.
