About Myself

Engine 7

Engine 7 is a 1989 Pierce Arrow with a 50' Telesqurt aerial device. It has a 1250gpm pump and a 500gal tank. Engine 7 is the first-due engine downtown, most of the North Side of Youngstown and the campus of Youngstown State University. After a refurbishment in late 1999, the engine was given the new YFD graphics package. It is now solid red with white and gold trim.

Retired Apparatus that served as Engine 7

These photos by no means represents every truck that served as Engine 7, but these two are classics. On the left is a 1935 American-LaFrance factory shot, while on the right is a Robinson Chemical and Hose Engine that served around 1913.
