3/31/2001- approx. 2111
Youngstown: W/F 2417 Logan Ave. in between Upland and Roslyn. Battalion 1 reports fire in a 2 sty SFD. Eng 7 has the hydrant. Cos: Eng 6, 7, 12, Lad 22, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2.

3/31/2001- 0053
Youngstown: W/F 1546 Oak Lane. Eng 12 reports smoke showing. Cos: Eng 12, 7, 6, Lad 22, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2.

3/30/2001- 1139
Youngstown: W/F 179 Saranac. Eng 6 reports heavy smoke from 2nd floor of 2 sty SFD. Eng 7 has the hydrant. Cos: Eng 6, 7, 12, Lad 22, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2.

3/23/2001- 0918
Youngstown: W/F 641 West Delason. Cos: Eng 2, 3, 15, Lad 24, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2. Fire in SFD. Eng 2 to lay S/L.

3/19/2001- 1650
Youngstown: W/F 707 Wilkinson. Cos: Eng 2, 3, 15, Lad 22, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2. Fire in detached garage/living area. Crosses are McCollum and Overlook. Fire stopped from spreading to garage due to fire-proof plaster. Fire started in loft due to a broken water heater.

Youngstown: W/F 248 East Boston. Cos: Eng 2, 15, 9, Lad 24, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2. BN 2 reports smoke showing side 2 bedroom. All occupants out. Ops: 154.370/160.035.

3/16/2001- 1546
Youngstown: W/F 631 Ridge. Cos: Eng 2, 3, 7, Lad 22, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2. BN 1 reports smoke showing from attic of a SFD.

3/13/2001- 1912
Youngstown: W/F 57 East Judson. Cos: Eng 2, 9, 15, Lad 24, Res33cuE, BN 1, 2. Eng 2 on scene reporting smoke showing from a SFD. Eng 9 taking the hydrant. BN 2 (Jordan) is OIC.

3/7/2001- 1416

Youngstown: Assist Medics on entry into home at 2720 S. Schenley. Cos: Eng 15.

Youngstown: Dumpster fire on lower Belmont, B&M. Cos: Eng 7.

9:51am - Working Fire - Idora Park Ballroom -  1st Alarm@0951. E3, 15, 9, S33, L24, B1 and B2
(note: E2 was responding to a still box but responded to Idora when cleared)
 
2nd Alarm@0957 per E15 Captain. E6, 7 and L22.
 
At noon, S33 had cleared, L22 and L24 were up and operating, Arson was there, E3 was there and cleared. Lots of heavy smoke still pouring from the structure at noon. NO chance to save building, Companies on defensive. A few small isolated brush and rubbage fires around structure also.
 
At 1300, both spare YFD rigs were brought to the scene to relay water to L22 operating on the southeast side of the Ballroom.
 
Engine 12 brought downtown to cover the city.
 
1730: E2, E6, E7, E9, L22, and BC1 were clearing. L24 and BC2 still on scene with a city engineers back hoe hoseing down the remains. The ladder had a double stream going from the basket.
 
At approx. 2130 hours, L24 and BC2 began to clear. They had been on the scene for almost 12 hours. Also, E2, E7, and E15 called back to collect supply line and begin final assesment and clearing. Word of a possible flare-up. It was a very long day for the boys and girls of "A" Turn.

Youngstown: MVA/PIN Market & Braden Sts. Cos: Eng 2, Res33cuE. YPD confirms victim pinned. Ohio Edison S/C'd for down pole. At least 1 car involved.
