1974 - Mack CF685/ Engine 2/Engine 13/Spare 2
This 1974 Mack CF685 series engine served the Youngstown Fire Department until October of 2001 as a reserve engine. This piece previously served as an active engine at Station 2(b), now closed, and the also closed Station 13 on the South Side. This engine has a 1000gpm pump, a 500gal booster tank (new in 1996), and a 5-speed standard shift transmission. This engine is serial number CF685F-1662. In October of 2001, it was sold to a salvage yard in Warren for scrap.
